Applied Nutrition Creatine Monohydrate in Cherry & Apple flavour: 5 g of creatine monohydrate per scoop, 50 scoops in the 250 g tub. For anyone who trains hard and wants a flavoured creatine that mixes into water on its own – no shake needed.

What creatine does

This is the EU-authorised claim for creatine: creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high-intensity exercise. The effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3 g of creatine – one scoop covers it.

At a glance

  • 5 g creatine monohydrate per scoop – 50 servings per tub
  • Flavoured, so it mixes with plain water
  • Tested for Athletes™ (batch-tested for banned substances)
  • Vegan, halal certified
  • Applied Nutrition, UK

How to take it

Mix 1 scoop (5 g) with 200 ml of water, stir and drink. Use 1–2 times daily, preferably with breakfast or after exercise. Scoops are approximate – a kitchen scale is more accurate. Creatine works by building up in the muscle, so take it every day, training day or not.

Ingredients

Creatine Monohydrate, Acid (Citric Acid, Malic Acid), Natural Flavouring, Sweetener (Sucralose), Anti-Caking Agent (Silicon Dioxide), Colour (Beetroot Red). Allergens: made in a facility that handles milk, soy, eggs and gluten.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a loading phase?

No. 3–5 g a day, every day, fills the muscle stores within three to four weeks. Loading (20 g a day for a week) gets there faster but is not necessary and is harder on the stomach.

Does creatine help recovery or endurance?

The approved EU claim for creatine is about physical performance in short bursts of high-intensity exercise – weights, sprints, HIIT. Claims about recovery or endurance are not authorised, so we don't make them.

When should I take it?

Any time of day, as long as it is every day. Many people take it after training or with breakfast because that is easy to remember.

Flavoured or unflavoured?

Flavoured mixes well in water on its own. If you add creatine to a protein shake or juice, the unflavoured 500 g is cheaper per serving.

Is it in stock in Malta?

Yes – on the shelf in our Tarxien shop and online. Order by 12:45 for next day delivery anywhere in Malta, fast delivery to Gozo, or free pick-up in store.

Price per serving: €0.60 per 5 g scoop (50 servings) – €11.98 per 100 g. See all creatine in Malta → or read our guide to choosing a creatine supplement in Malta.
