Gold Standard 100% Whey – the one most people mean
Gold Standard 100% Whey is Optimum Nutrition's best-known protein and one of the best-selling whey proteins in the world. Each 30 g scoop gives 24 g of protein, with whey protein isolate as the first ingredient, 5 g of naturally occurring BCAAs and about 1 g of sugar. Protein contributes to a growth in muscle mass and to the maintenance of muscle mass and normal bones. It mixes easily with a spoon or shaker, and it is tested for banned substances.

How many servings are in the 2 kg Gold Standard? About 66–68 scoops of 30 g, so roughly ten weeks at one shake a day. The 450 g tub is about 15 scoops.
Whey or Isolate? Both are whey. Isolate is filtered further, so you get a little more protein per scoop and less fat, carbohydrate and lactose, at a higher price per serving. For most people Gold Standard 100% Whey is the sensible choice; Isolate is for people who want the leanest possible shake or who find normal whey heavy on the stomach.
