Ashwagandha in Malta – KSM-66 capsules, gummies and organic powder
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is a root used for centuries in Indian Ayurvedic tradition. Today it is one of the most asked-for supplements at our counter in Tarxien, and we keep the main formats in stock all year, from €7.55.
Which ashwagandha should I choose?
- KSM-66 capsules – a standardised root extract (Applied Nutrition KSM-66, 600 mg per serving). The most popular choice: one measured dose, no taste.
- Ashwagandha gummies – WeightWorld raspberry gummies, for people who do not like capsules.
- Organic ashwagandha powder – Dragon Superfoods, for adding to smoothies or warm milk. The traditional way, and the cheapest per gram.
- Magnesium + ashwagandha bundle – Igennus Magnesium Glycinate with Applied Nutrition KSM-66 together at a bundle price.
How is it taken?
Follow the dose on the pack – usually one or two capsules a day with food, or a teaspoon of powder. Give it a few weeks of regular use rather than judging it after a day or two. Ashwagandha is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and if you take any medication or have a thyroid condition, please check with your GP or pharmacist first.
Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
